The signs are good for the head of design at a leading Midlands public relations consultancy.

Clare Godson has just completed her first year at Clarke Associates with a major project on behalf of Alderbrook School, Solihull ? involving the development of no less than three identities.

The suite of design work for THE edge arts centre, a partnership between the school and the Solihull Society of Arts, involved updating the school?s identity and new designs for both THE edge and the society.

This included signage as well as literature and promotional material.

?Business and not-for-profit organisations are increasingly looking to develop a family of design materials that are not only consistent but make them stand out to their audience and differentiate them from their competitors,? said Clare

?The skill is to reflect the organisation?s ethos and dynamism through a practical design solution that complements the organisation?s public relations and marketing activities.?

Clare?s other work during her first 12 months with Clarke Associates has included a new corporate design for Hogarths hotel and restaurant, also in Solihull, an identity for Homesearch of Kenilworth and the production of literature, signage, newsletters and in-house magazines.
