GVA Grimley’s property management consultancy in Birmingham has chosen Freshwinds as its annual charity.

To mark the start of GVA Grimley’s support, the property management consultancy, which is now more than 100 strong within Birmingham, donated a cheque for £5,000 to the charity.

The Freshwinds charity provides care, education, support and therapy to individuals with life threatening and life limiting illnesses within the Birmingham area.

Freshwinds B-SAGE Good Neighbour Project is a well-being project for older adults living with long term health conditions. As part of the project, a number of GVA Grimley employees will be providing gardening support to help spruce up a number of elderly people’s gardens.

Christopher Hipkiss, a director in the property management division, said: “Freshwinds provide vital support for vulnerable individuals in the Birmingham area and we are delighted to be associated with them.”

Steve Moralee, director of development at Freshwinds, commented: “We are delighted that the property management team in Birmingham voted us their charity of the year. “
