Stratford-upon-Avon solicitor Herbert Andrews has been appointed president of the Warwickshire Law Society.

Mr Andrews, who lives in Claverdon, Warwickshire, is managing partner of Needham & James, which also has offices in Birmingham and the Cotswolds.

Based at the firm’s Stratford office, Mr Andrews specialises in both property and private client work and heads the firm’s residential property team.

Together with senior partner John Hughes, he is credited with having spearheaded the firm’s recent substantial growth, which has included a move to new extensive purpose-built offices in Stratford-upon-Avon and to larger premises in One Colmore Row, Birmingham.

Mr Andrews has spent ten years as a committee member of the Warwickshire Law Society, which has more than 500 members in Coventry and Warwickshire.
