Law firm Weightmans has appointed specialist solicitor Sonja Dale to its commercial dispute resolution and insolvency team.
Ms Dale joins from DLA Piper in Birmingham and will be based in both of the firm’s Midlands offices, Birmingham and Leicester.
Her expertise includes disputes involving breaches of contract, negligence, nuisance and statutory breaches.

The firm launched its commercial dispute resolution and insolvency team in the Midlands with the appointment of associate Verona Cocks in 2006. She joined the firm from Cobbetts in Birmingham and has now established a strong client base across Birmingham and Leicester. Ms Cocks said: "Sonja’s experience will add much valued expertise to our growing commercial offering in the Midlands."
