Outsourcing company Quiss Technology has been appointed by Shakespeares to undertake all staff IT training needs across the law firm’s eight offices.
The decision to outsource training was prompted by the firm’s recent growth and the need to integrate all parts of the businesses into Shakespeares’ developing systems.
Nick Hayne, professional services manager at Quiss, said: “We are delighted to have been offered the opportunity to work with a firm of Shakespeares’ standing.
“This is more a co-sourcing agreement than a traditional outsourcing contract - although the trainers are employed by Quiss, they are permanently based at Shakespeares’ offices, undertaking training at the firm’s Birmingham and Leicester training centres.”
Ian Smit, operations director for Shakespeares, said: “The training of every employee in the efficient use of the applications and technology within our business, is key to improving personal productivity and ensuring our continuing success.
“Quiss has an impressive track-record in the legal sector and for delivering training across a range of sectors with similar challenges to those faced by law firms.
“Finding outsourcing partners with the skills, resources and service quality demonstrated by Quiss allows us to concentrate on the core aspects of our business, safe in the knowledge we have the support we need to allow us to pursue an ambitious growth strategy.”
