Shakespeare Putsman has promoted Julie Park as a partner and Christopher Drayton as an associate within its insurance team.
Ms Park specialises in dealing with high value catastrophic injury claims on behalf of a number of major insurer clients.
She advises on all aspects of personal injury litigation, including road traffic, employers' liability and public liability claims and has a special interest in brain injury cases.
Both Ms Park and Mr Drayton have long service with Putsmans, which became Shakespeare Putsman in April last year.
Ms Park trained with Putsman and became an associate in 2004. Mr Drayton started his career with the firm 15 years ago and has experience of all aspects of insurance litigation work from both a defendant and claimant perspective. He became a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2001 and a Fellow in 2003.
He works in the large loss team at Shakespeare Putsman defending claims for insurers, doing employers' liability and public liability work and acting on behalf of some of the country’s leading public transport providers. He specialises in defending all types of large loss and personal injury claims arising from road traffic accidents.
Head of insurance, Julia Holden, said: "Julie and Christopher bring valuable depth and breadth to the services we are able to offer. The considerable size of the insurance team and our strong track record of advising major insurers means that we are well placed to grow further."
