The corporate team of the Birmingham office of Shakespeare Putsman has advised on the sale of Worcestershire manufacturer Uniline Safety Systems to Capital Safety Group, the maker of height safety and fall protection equipment.

The deal represents the largest transaction for Shakespeare Putsman’s corporate team this year.

Founded in 2000, Uniline has 38 employees and operates out of Redditch, Worcestershire, with additional offices in Australia.

Shakespeare Putsman’s team was led by corporate partner Keith Spedding, who said: “Uniline Safety Systems has built a substantial reputation around the world for delivering excellence in the design, manufacture and sale of engineered fall protection systems and the deal allows Uniline to move on to the next stage in its development.”

The value of the deal was not disclosed.
