Pinsent Masons has been voted the most popular provider of legal services in the UK by The Lawyer’s inaugural client satisfaction survey.

The survey of 200 in-house lawyers named Pinsent Masons as the firm that they would most like to work with.

The report highlighted the quality of the firm’s client listening programme, innovative service delivery and the efforts it makes to understand its clients’ needs.

Pinsent Masons was ranked top in the list of the ‘UK’s magnificent seven trail blazers’ after it received more positive comments than any other firm.

Pinsent Masons’ head of client strategy Alastair Morrison said: “We’ve been working hard to use client feedback in a more aggregated way to inform the way we develop our services and innovate.

“The feedback shows that clients are finding that they do not need to use the magic circle to get the quality they need.

“By building expertise and solutions around the needs of our core sectors we are able to handle the most complex bet-the-business stuff.”

Pinsent Masons’ director of knowledge, risk and legal services David Halliwell added: “Pinsent Masons’ intense focus on relationships means that it is constantly talking to clients informally alongside formal programmes.

“Clients tell us what is important to them, and we are agile enough to be able to respond with better consistency, better communication with clients, better transparency and analysis of what is being done, by whom and when.

“As work becomes more complex, technology can help manage that complexity and ensure that nothing is missed.

“At the same time, automating the commonplace frees up thinking time for the complicated, and encourages lateral thinking and new ways to solve clients’ problems.”
