Law firm Mills & Reeve has appointed David Varnham to head up its new Birmingham banking team.
Mr Varnham joins as principal associate from the London office of Allen & Overy where he spent more than ten years in the firm's banking department.
His experience in the banking sector includes expertise in acting for borrowers, lenders and governments on domestic and international financings across a wide range of sectors.
Mr Varnham said: "I am thrilled to be joining Mills & Reeve and I am looking forward to supporting the firm's clients in the Midlands.
"With growth in the city outstripping other large UK cities and expansion in the local financial services sector, it is an extremely exciting time for me to be making the move from London to Birmingham."
