Three Birmingham lawyers will be going where only legal eagles dare when they take part in a sponsored parachute jump for charity.

Birmingham Law Society (BLS) president Dean Parnell and fellow BLS officers Andrew Lancaster, vice president, and Mary Kaye, deputy vice president, will take to the skies on April 16 to leap out of a plane at 13,500 feet.

The daring trio are raising money for Birmingham Women’s NHS Foundation Trust’s Tiny Babies, Big Appeal, which is helping to fund the building and equipping of a new neonatal unit at the hospital.

Mr Parnell said: “On a personal level, I wanted to finish off my presidency with an event that would not only raise money for such a worthy cause, but which would also show our members we are prepared to take risks and have fun.”
