The Birmingham office of international law firm DAC Beachcroft has unveiled ambitious plans to take on new office space to help it create dozens of jobs in the city.

The firm will expand its city centre office at Brindleyplace next month to allow for 120 more members of staff as it seeks to add to its 320-strong team from the firm’s Claims Solutions Group already based there.

Martin Cannon, regional senior partner of the Birmingham office, said the firm is currently reviewing options to relocate to larger premises in the city.

This marks the latest expansion in Birmingham fuelled by the success of its claims validation and property risk solutions teams, after it completed a £1 million office refit last year saw the local headcount increase by 30 per cent with the creation of 75 new desks.

Mr Cannon said: “We are delighted that the growth in our claims solutions group in Birmingham is set to continue into the New Year as we continue to attract new clients and the demand for our services increases in the marketplace.

“To help us to continue operating efficiently and provide a top-class service, we’ve taken furnished office space comprising 120 workstations in Brindleyplace to house our property risk solutions team, which has grown by over 50 per cent in the past 12 months.”
