Commercial property lawyers at Lichfield firm Keelys have completed a lease that means a sixth Midlands office for a top regional accountancy firm.
They helped set up a Derby office for Midlands financial services firm Dains.
The legal work involved a ten-year lease for the ground and part first floor of new purpose-built offices at Wyvern Business Park in Derby. The move brings the total number of offices for Dains across the country to 14.
James Chisholm, a commercial property partner at Keelys, was instructed by Dains’ chief executive, Spencer Wright.
The premises will house a proportion of Dains’ 14 partners and 111 other staff and will provide another Midlands base after Birmingham, Lichfield, Burton, Rugeley and Swadlincote. Mr Wright said: “Wyvern Business Park is Derby’s most successful business location. Its position – a mile from the city centre and within easy distance of the M1 – combined with the high specification and quality of design of the building made this an obvious choice for us to further increase our presence in the region.”
