The Birmingham office of law firm Irwin Mitchell’s drive to become one of the leading providers of employment law services to the education sector has been boosted with the launch of a new service.

IM Educate is a fixed price employment law service, providing schools with direct and unlimited access to a dedicated employment solicitor, regular newsletters, bespoke training and optional Employment Tribunal insurance.

The service is targeted at the full range of educational establishments including universities, colleges, academies, schools and nurseries.

Irwin Mitchell in Birmingham recently appointed solicitor Surinder Dhillon.

Prior to that Ms Dhillon was senior employment solicitor at Birmingham City Council and head of its schools employment law unit.

She said: “Irwin Mitchell has a clear vision to build market share within this sector and I firmly believe a fixed-fee service with insurance protection provides a seamless service with the certainty of cost and first class expertise and is an attractive proposition which gives us a point of difference over our competitors.”
