A solicitor from Three Counties law firm Harrison Clarke has become a Notary Public.
Rebecca Leask from Harrison Clark received her certification from the Archbishop of Canterbury confirming her in the role.
A Notary Public acts impartially and is primarily concerned with the authentication of signatures and documents abroad.
With a Notary within the firm, Harrison Clark, which has offices across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire as well as in Birmingham and London, can offer a more complete service to clients.
This could include preparation of documents required to incorporate a company overseas, documents for use in overseas litigation and certification of documents relating to legal entities registered at Companies House in the case of business clients.
Also powers of attorney for use overseas, documentation required for buying a property overseas, change of name deeds and authentication of documentation for immigration and emigration purposes are just some of the services for individuals.
Ms Leask said: “I am looking forward to adding a wider range of services to our existing clients, with international interests.
"The role is diverse which enables me to assist clients with variety of complex processes across an array of countries which all have different laws and systems.”
