Peter McHugh, a construction law specialist and partner at law firm Challinors is a chartered arbitrator, accredited mediator, property dispute resolution and professional negligence claims specialist with over 20 years construction sector experience.
Mr McHugh takes over from former chair Will Evans and has pledged that as the FBE’s Birmingham chair he will maximise the role and benefits of the forum to the Birmingham and West Midlands’ business and construction community.
“It is vital that the FBE provides business opportunities for its members, and shines a vital spotlight on the enormous wealth of expertise and organisations working within the Birmingham and wider West Midlands’ construction and property sectors,” he said.
The FBE in Birmingham hosts regular forums and events for members, which includes many of Birmingham and the regions’ leading construction contractors, developers and consultants.
Its flagship event for 2012 is the ‘UK Construction Market – The Problems/The Solution’ event at The Hyatt Birmingham on May 31.
