The Birmingham office of Eversheds is expanding its construction and engineering team.

Associate Cathy Moore has joined with more than 12 years' experience in construction dispute resolution, having been a partner at London firms Fish-burns and Beale & Co.

She is working on heavyweight, high-value and complex disputes.

She is joined by newly qualified solicitor Iain McKenny who, having completed his training with Mills & Reeve, will work on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

Legal assistant Anita Solanki has also arrived - from the legal department of Birmingham City Council.

Led by partners Amrik Kandola and Peter Scurlock, the team has 11 full-time lawyers; clients include Taylor Woodrow, Birmingham International Airport and Interserve.

Mr Kandola said: "We already have a highly experienced construction and engineering team working on regional and national/international projects and our latest additions are further evidence of our commitment to offering the highest quality legal service to our clients.

"I'm confident Cathy, Iain and Anita will help further enhance our reputation in this field."
