A member of the corporate finance team at the Birmingham office of accountants and business advisers PKF has taken a step up.

Elinor Mathieson has been promoted to director after 10 years with the firm. She joined PKF at the Worcester office and has been on the corporate finance side since 2006 and specialises in due diligence and transaction support.

“I am thrilled that I am being given an opportunity to make a further contribution to PKF’s corporate finance operations,” she said. “Despite tougher economic times the deals are still there to be done and I hope I can help make a significant contribution to the department’s work.”

Recent deals on which she has worked include various acquisitions by RPS Group including that of R W Gregory, WTW & Associates and Oceanfix International; the purchase of Digital Look by CMC Markets; the acquisition of Forrester Health by BHSF Group; and due diligence in respect of the management buyout of the Surveillance Group.

Also celebrating promotions are assistant managers Gareth Thomas and Gareth Wilson.
