The Birmingham office of an international property company has promoted eight of its staff.
The appointments at Cushman and Wakefield came on the eve of the company celebrating five years in the city, which has seen if grow from four to 82 staff.
Mike Newman, who works in the firm’s accounts department, and Jennifer Longden, who joined the building consultancy team four years ago, have both been made associates, as have Marcus Hayes in the office’s agency team and Colin Lawrence-Waterhouse from industrial.
Both Mr Hayes and Mr Lawrence-Waterhouse joined the firm shortly after the opening of the Birmingham office.
Ed Purcell has become a senior surveyor in the retail team.
Other promotions were Kristiani Pili and James Drew, both of whom become senior surveyors in the property management team.
Also promoted is management team support staffer Kavita Modha, who becomes a surveyor.
Scott Rutherford, head of the offices team at Cushman & Wakefield in Birmingham, said: “It is very pleasing that eight people who all started in the Birmingham office of Cushman & Wakefield since we opened have all been promoted.
“This shows the progress of both the office and their individual careers over the period since we opened.”
