Regional law firm Lodders has taken on a top Birmingham business adviser as chairman to help drive the business.
George Campion, who has just retired as a partner at global accountants Deloitte in Birmingham, will start as non-executive chairman of the firm in the New Year.
He retired as a senior tax partner at Deloitte after 20 years in the role.
Lodders managing partner Rod Bird said: “During that time he has built an enviable national reputation as an expert, particularly in the field of real estate where his clients include large multinational groups.
“We expect George will contribute greatly to the business of the practice not only in the significant business and personal connections he brings but also in his technical and commercial skills which will significantly enhance, strengthen and reinforce Lodders’ overall business strategy.”
