Sixteen teams of fundraisers from a Solihull-based company built on their charity activity by competing in a triathlon to raise money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Almost 50 employees from credit firm LaSer UK tackled the event, which was organised by the company’s sales and marketing team, in teams of three as part of a year-long plan to encourage fundraising activities in the workplace.
The triathlon took place at Tudor Grange Cycle Track and continued with swimming at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre and running at the Norman Green Athletics Track.
Sales and marketing director Lisa Simcox said: “It’s pleasing that so many of our budding athletes signed up to take part. We hope that this event will play its part in a successful year of fundraising for Marie Curie Cancer Care.”
