Property firm Jones Lang LaSalle is poised to capitalise on the success of its Birmingham-based project and development services team with plans for strategic expansion over the next year.

Jones Lang LaSalle's project and development services clients out of Birmingham include local, national and international investors and corporate blue chip companies, and the division has seen an 85 per cent increase in fees due to growth in its order book over the past two years.

Head count in the team has risen from three to five in the past 15 months. Team head Graham Taylor has unveiled plans for a further increase.

"The high number of quality instructions we are able to attract at Jones Lang LaSalle Birmingham has made the project and development services side of the business extremely dynamic and the high calibre of professionals within the team has helped ensure strong growth from repeat business," he said.

"There is significant scope for further growth within the Midlands market over the next couple of years and we have put in place an expansion strategy to ensure we address this successfully with the right skills base and resources in place to provide consistently high service levels."

An associate director, Graham Taylor has led the project and development services team for four years.

He added: "The focus now, following two years of rapid growth, is to sustain the growth curve and manage that growth to ensure we continue to offer a 'best in market' service."
