Lambert Smith Hampton has formed a new joint venture with Sequence, one of the country's largest networks of residential estate agents with over 320 branches, to strengthen its capabilities when selling and purchasing land with potential for housing.

Sequence's expertise in residential development agency is being added to LSH's existing commercial skills to create a more comprehensive development advice service.

The venture will offer the broadest depth and range of service within the industry to clients seeking mixed use and residential development advice. The new partnership organisation will be called LSH Sequence.

Sequence, part of Skipton Building Society, operates under 11 well-known High Street names, including Barnard Marcus, Fox & Sons, William H Brown, and Brown & Merry - some of which have been synonymous with estate agency for over 100 years.

Its land & new homes division is involved in land transactions and new developments. The link-up between LSH and Sequence will provide both parties with the opportunity to combine their strong property market expertise to offer clients a single, integrated and effective development consultancy proposition.

The increasing trend towards mixed-use development makes this even more relevant and valuable to landowners and developers.
