Housebuilder KingsOak South Midlands is to build nearly 100 new homes in West Heath, Birmingham.

It will launch the scheme at a new development on Alvechurch Road called Westminster Place.

There will be 95 one and two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses on the site of the former Carr's Paints factory.

It will launch on September 30.

Westminster Place is currently the third new homes project in the area from KingsOak which has been building in Birmingham for more than six years. Earlier this summer the Coventry-based firm started work on a landmark project of 258 apartments called Skyline on Bath Row.

Alison Tindle, sales director for KingsOak South Midlands, said: "Birmingham has been, and is still in many areas, undergoing a renaissance - and KingsOak South Midlands is delighted to be playing such a key role in its regeneration.

"As an award-winning housebuilder, we recognise the need to help rejuvenate redundant sites such as this to help meet the demand for new homes in the community."
