A Birmingham firm of building services engineers is working on a major new regeneration scheme as part of a £1.4 million contract.
JS Wright has started work on phase two of a 140- unit affordable homes project in Old Kent Road, south east London for developers Mount Anvil.
The company, based in Aston, is installing gas central heating and plumbing for the remaining 72 flats at eight-storey Augustus Court.
Due for completion in August 2006, the scheme for key workers is being developed by social housing providers Tower Homes, London & Quadrant, and Ujima Housing.
JS Wright, which was founded in Birmingham in 1890, has already completed phase one of Augustus Court by installing similar amenities for the first 65 flats and four town houses.
