Dr Jonathan Foyle, CEO of the World Monument Fund and TV presenter of programmes such as Climbing Great Buildings will be speaker at an Institute of Directors event at Coventry Cathedral this week.
He will be speaking about the Medieval glass that was stored in the cathedral’s crypt in 1939 to protect it as the war started and is of great historical importance.
Coventry Cathedral is on the World Monuments Fund 2012 Watch List, a register of buildings worthy of preservation.
The event arranged by the IoD Coventry & Warwickshire branch starts at 6.30pm on Wednesday, November 7, with buffet and wine.
