Ten jobs were saved in Birmingham when a national repair and distribution company stepped in to buy Delton Electric.
Taylor & Goodman acquired the company, a specialist in supplying, servicing and repairing electric motors, generators and transformerss.
The company, formerly part of the Delton Group, will now be integrated into Taylor & Goodman’s UK-wide network.
The acquisition strengthens Taylor & Goodman’s offering in the Birmingham area where it already has a branch in Erdington which was opened in January.
Taylor & Goodman currently has a turnover of £10 million a year.
The purchase of Delton Electric brings Reading-based Taylor & Goodman’s staff numbers up to 135.
