A new senior consultant has been appointed by housing sector advisory and accountancy group Mazars.
The firm's Dudley-based office has taken on Jim Kempton to advise clients on the broader issues surrounding asset management.
He will be looking at affordable housing, environ-mental challenges and anti social behaviour matters and the role these play in the creation of communities.
Glen Jones, national head of social housing at Mazars, which has 100 registered social landlord clients, said Mr Kempton's appointment was part of the expanding range of property-related services the company now offered.
"We are now able to offer the social housing sector a one stop financial and property consultancy service," he said.
Mr Kempton has worked for a number of housing associations.
