Jaguar, which builds three of its four models at Castle Bromwich, has revamped its UK public relations team ahead of the arrival in the showrooms of the critical new XK sports car.

Ken McConomy has been appointed to the new role of head of PR, UK. Already well known to many journalists, Ken will continue to look after corporate affairs on a global basis, but in his new role will lead the UK PR team.

This comprises Jonathan Griffiths, who will continue as UK PR Manager, press officer Wendy Norwood and press fleet administrator, Caraline Pengelly.

In addition, Jonathan gains a second press officer with the transfer of Juliet Spiers from Jaguar's internal communications team who will alongside Wendy Norwood.

Jane Stewart, brand PR manager, Jaguar Cars, will work alongside Ken McConomy and Jonathan Griffiths focussing on the needs of non-motoring media and identifying opportunities for promotion of Jaguar.
