Institute of Directors' regional Chairman John James has become the first leading business figure to take part in a new online television interview.
John James is featured on the Midlands-based, business news and information website Biz-tv 'in conversation' with broadcaster Adrienne Lawler.
He talks about the IoD's relevance, its approach to key issues with other business organisations like the CBI and his three goals for his tenure as Chairman.
The project is the brainchild of Biz-tv which is run as part of a £3.4 million Advantage West Midlands-funded scheme at Aston University.
The full live interview, which can be seen online at www.biztv.net, is the first in what the channel's project manager, Joe McConnell, hopes will eventually become a regular series of television style interviews featuring top business personalities in the
region. He said: "Video stories on Biztv can be seen worldwide, making it a unique opportunity for the Midlands business community to spread the word about themselves."
Mr James said he would encourage businesses and regionally based intermediary organisations to take advantage "of this opportunity to promote themselves and their role to clients and partners through this independent web presence." ..SUPL:
