What have a demolition man and a ballet dancer got in common?
Both the companies they work for - the DSM Group and the Birmingham Royal Ballet - have been recognised by Investors in People.
And the BRB is believed to be the first major dance organisation to have achieved such a status.
Marion Rainer, an Austrian artist at the BRB for the past five years, and Andy Jameson, sales director at Birminghambased DSM Group - one of the
UK's leading demolition and decommissioning companies - reflect the organisations which use IiP to bring their diverse workforces together.
Both organisations employ a huge variety of employees - dancers, musicians, accountants, administrators at the BRB and demolition experts supported by office-based administrators and management at DSM.
DSM has been recognised since July 2004 while BRB has been successfully assessed in the last month.
