Midlands investment company Bond Wolfe is to redevelop the former British Telecom building adjacent to its West Plaza hotel and office development on the High Street, West Bromwich into a 35,000 sq ft office scheme.

The company said it would be the largest speculative office scheme in West Bromwich town centre for more than 20 years.

It also comes at a time when West Bromwich is undergoing significant regeneration, with the £35 million Art Lottery Public project and other schemes promoted by Regenco.

The former BT building will be subject to a £2 million refurbishment programme.

It will feature commissionaire reception, onsite parking, CCTV, raised floors, perimeter heating and suspended ceilings.

The scheme is available from £12.50 psf and will provide a completed value in the region of £6 million.
