Brand building is set to come under the spotlight at a Market Society seminar in the Midlands.

The event - at Birmingham's Fort Dunlop - will feature guest speaker Tom Bloxham, chairman and joint founder of urban regeneration developer Urban Splash.

Among the topics will be how the company manages to deliver its brand promise on landmark buildings throughout the UK and why it decided to create a brand in the property sector.

The event will also look at how the company went about creating a strategy to stand out from the crowd.

People attending will get a chance to tour Fort Dunlop, which has been given a new lease of life by the company.

Mr Bloxham, who was awarded an MBE for his services to architecture and urban regeneration, has experienced an eventful career as a door-to-door fire extinguisher salesman and running a market stall.

He founded Urban Splash with Jonathan Falkingham in 1993. The business has gone on to win 80 awards for design, architecture, regeneration and enterprise.

The event is at Fort Dunlop at 6.00 pm on September 21. For further details or to book tickets, please call 0208 973 1360 or email bookings@marketingsociety.org.uk
