Brockencote Hall Hotel in Chaddesley Corbett, between Kidderminster and Bromsgrove, has been short-listed for the Small Hotel of the Year Award in the annual Heart of England Tourism Awards.
The hotel is no stranger to winning awards having last year picked up the Taste of Worcestershire Restaurant of the Year Award and the Best in the Midlands title in the Trophee Gosset Celebris 2004 Champagne Awards.
Brockencote Hall Hotel is officially one of the top 200 hotels in the UK and Ireland and has three Red Stars and two rosettes from the AA and an RAC Blue Ribbon Award.
"Some people lose their enthusiasm for trying to win awards but we don't," said proprietor Alison Petitjean. "We see it as a way of ensuring we maintain the process of continuous improvement in everything we do, taking care we don't get complacent."
The winners in all the categories in the awards will be announced at a Gala Dinner in Worcester Cathedral on October 6.
