Hotels group Millennium & Copthorne said yesterday it would soon receive a final £13 million insurance payout for damage to a prestigious New York hotel on September 11.
The settlement will bring the total paid to M&C for damage and lost business at the Millennium Hilton to £44 million.
Insurance payments started with an initial £5.2 million in 2002.
M&C later received £26 million from Travelers Property Casualty Company of America and will get the final settlement from the same company in the next week.
The cash will go into its profit and loss account.
