East Midlands based stockbroker, Hill Osborne, continues to strengthen further its intermediary and IFA business with the appointment of Adrian Sawyer as business development manager.

Mr Sawyer joins Hill Osborne's current 21-strong team in Leicester, which manages around £526 million - £110 million of which is discretionary - for a wide and diverse client base.

Aged 43, he has arrived to work alongside Ed Cufflin, Andrew Baker, Simon Hopewell and Beverley La Rosa, who joined Hill Osborne last month and all of whom previously worked together at Morgan Stanley Quilter.

As a team, they will be focussing on providing discretionary fund management for intermediaries and IFAs within the East Midlands.

Mr Sawyer said: "I have chosen to join Hill Osborne, a well-respected name in the stockbroking world as I see a tremendous opportunity to help develop its IFA introduced business, which I feel has considerable scope to grow."

Mr Hopewell commented: "Having worked with Adrian before we know that he will be an immediate and powerful asset. Hill Osborne has a long- established regional presence as part of the national brand of Brewin Dolphin and remains committed to providing a high quality, personal service for clients and intermediaries in the East Midlands area."

Chris Hailes, senior divisional director at Hill Osborne, Leicester, added: "The team collectively brings to Hill Osborne an excellent record in introduced discretionary fund management."
