Birmingham-based Faithful+Gould has joined forces with RIBA by contributing to a seminar aimed at helping more than 170 architectural students through their final professional practice examinations.

The project and cost management consultancy dedicates time each year to impart its expertise to the next generation of industry professionals by discussing certain aspects of the industry.

Mark Boorman, associate director at Faithful+Gould spoke about project management, the issues often faced in delivering successful projects, as well as best practice.

The presentations are designed to offer students a range of different perspectives from people working within the construction industry as well as guidance and support to help them through their exams.

Mr Boorman said: "Taking exams that contribute towards professional qualification is not easy, so we are more than happy to help in any way we can. I believe it is particularly relevant that the industry takes a proactive position in supporting and equipping future professionals with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in this industry.

"At Faithful+Gould we always look at ways we can offer our services for a good cause, whether this means helping out on a community project or offering advice to those looking to enter the industry."
