A solicitor with over 30 years' expertise in private client work has joined law firm Irwin Mitchell.
Helen Rowett has become part of the team at the family and private client practice at the firm's Birmingham office.
She left the Midlands to go up to Oxford, subsequently served articles in the City of London and then worked in Lincolns Inn.
"We are very pleased to have attracted a lawyer of Helen's calibre," said Kevin Harris-James, partner and head of family and private client at Irwin Mitchell in Birmingham.
"She returned to the Midlands when she married and played a key role in growing a small practice into a Legal 500 firm."
She has been president of Warwickshire Law Society.
