Sutton Coldfield agency Haslimann Taylor is spearheading a drive to raise awareness for a major charity drive.

Haslimann, which has provided its services for free, has targeted TV radio and print to boost a fundraising initiative by Birmingham Focus on Blindness.

The first ever Wear Bright for Sight Day will take place across on Friday as part of Blind Awareness Month.

The event aims to raise money for Birmingham Focus on Blindness, ensuring they can continue to support local people with sight impairment and help them achieve a better quality of life.

People across the region are asked to support the campaign by donning their most outrageous bright outfits on the Friday and donating cash to the charity.

The money raised will to go towards the services and support that Birmingham Focus on Blindness provides for the 30,000 children and adults in Birmingham who are blind or sight impaired, their families and carers.

Alec Longhurst, marketing manager of Birmingham Focus on Blindness, said: "Sight impairment can affect anyone at any time of their life. Whether you join in at work, at school or as an individual, even a small donation can make an enormous difference to the services we provide."
