A Leamington company specialising in providing higher business intelligence has set its sights on replicating its overseas success in the Midlands.
Altimus, which has built up a reputation for helping companies around the world make clearer business decisions, has just completed its latest project for one of Leamington's fastest growing retailers, Bravissimo, one of the country's leading providers of lingerie and swimwear especially designed for ladies with a larger bust.
"Until now around 80 per cent of our client base has b een overseas," said Altimus managing director Rob Edmonds.
"But with a wealth of businesses right here on our doorstep we made a conscious decision to shift our focus and concentrate on ploughing all the business and technological expertise we've built up over a decade into our local area."
Bravissimo's director, Mike Tremellen, said he was delighted to be one of the first companies to benefit from Altimus' homesoil focus.
"Altimus has brought a whole new level of sophistication to Bravissimo's data analysis capabilities," he said.
"The technology we had before couldn't cope with the sheer volume of information we needed to process, but Altimus took a detailed look at our procedures and came up with the perfect package that will not only give us an extra dimension of detail now, but also has the flexibility to evolve and expand alongside our growth strategy."
Set up in 1995 as a small mail order company operating from Sarah Tremellen's sitting room, Bravissimo is now a multi-million pound award-winning business, with retail mail order, online shopping and 11 high street stores as a testament to its rapid growth.
Mr Edmonds added: "All too often companies are too immersed in the dayto-day running of their business and don't have the time or the tools to see the bigger picture.
"Altimus has the commercial and technical expertise to be able to look at any business from an elevated viewpoint and identify the actions it can take now to change things for the better."
