Two Midland branches of collapsed retailer Gadget Shop have been closed down with the loss of 11 jobs.
The outlets at Birmingham International Airport, and the Potteries Shopping Centre in Hanley were among ten stores across the UK shut by accountants PKF.
PKF, who were appointed earlier this week to find buyers for the Hull-based chain, said they were confident of finding purchasers for the rest of the company's stores.
The other Midland outlets of the company, in the Pavilions Shopping Centre and Bullring in Birmingham, and the Darwin Shopping Centre in Shrewsbury, would continue trading, PKF said.
Bryan Jackson, a partner with PKF overseeing the sale, said he had already received interest to buy the chain.
