Charity Lattitude Global Volunteering is offering bursaries to fund volunteering gap years overseas to young people across the West Midlands who may struggle to raise the fee.

Not for profit charity organisation Lattitude Global Volunteering provides 17-to-25 year olds from all over the world with volunteering opportunities overseas, but has funding available exclusively within the West Midlands area, until March 31.

Paul Rompani, chief executive of Lattitude Global Volunteering, said: “Many young people across the West Midlands are currently facing unemployment and competing for a limited number of places at university, so Lattitude is providing the option to take a productive year out to volunteer overseas, which can enhance their chances of getting into university or finding employment.”

Applications for the bursary for the West Midlands must be with Lattitude by March 31. For further information visit www.lattitude.org.uk or call Jo Neville, Bursary Coordinator at Lattitude, on 0118 956 2905.
