Property consultant Fuller Peiser has moved into larger new offices in Birmingham's prime business location as part of its expansion programme following a record breaking year.

Tim Suffield, partner and head of the Birmingham office at No 9 Colmore Row, said the move was necessary for staff expansion and increased operational efficiency.

"Our primary need was for more space but we also wanted a building and location which was compatible with our image and chose these 10,000 sq ft first floor offices alongside the entrance to Snow Hill Station because Colmore Row is still the focal point for the city's business community," he said. The interior of the offices and its fittings and furniture are identical to offices in London and Bristol.

The move of a few hundred yards from Waterloo Street was completed over a weekend with the aid of a core team headed by Gary Chamberlain, Paul Rixon, Michelle Orange and Rosemary Allison.

Mr Suffield said that the 75-strong Birmingham office team would gradually expand. "We've set ourselves a challenging target with growth in areas including planning, landlord and tenant and rating. In the past year there has been strong performance from agency, investment and construction," he added.
