A Midlands law firm has helped food lovers in Warwickshire get a taste for genuine local produce.
Leamington-based Wright Hassall has advised Corley farmer Graham Kelsey on diversifying so he can sell meat, eggs and vegetables which come fresh from his Beckfield Lodge Farm.
Mr Kelsey has been farming in the area for several years and previously sold his produce at market.
Now, with the help of stepsons Glenn and Clint, he will be able to sell straight to the consumer.
It is further evidence of a wind of change in agriculture where farms have to find new ways of producing income from their stock.
Mr Kelsey said: "We are looking forward to getting the shop opened and hopefully local people and those from further afield will want to come in and try genuine, local produce."
The shop will also supply to local pubs and restaurants.
John Rouse, head of Wright Hassall's farming and rural business unit, said: "We have been advising Graham for some time now and are delighted to help him move into a new area of business."
