The Charles Henry Foyle Trust (CHFT) has appointed the Birmingham Foundation to manage its grant-making programme.
The CHFT, which awards grants of up to £3,000 to projects or events promoting individual and community development in South West Birmingham and North Worcestershire, will also switch its registered office to the Birmingham Foundation at St Peter's Urban Village Trust in Saltley.
The CHFT will continue to operate under its own name.
Harvey Mansfield, director of the Birmingham Foundation, explained: "Bringing the CHFT under the auspices of the Birmingham Foundation means that we will be able to help more applicants than previously.
"Where applications are not suitable for funding from the CHFT, we will now be able to point them in the direction of other trust funds, or our own endowment fund, ensuring as many groups as possible get the support that they need."
