Five Midland businesses are amongst the first in the UK to take part in a novel incentive card scheme for new homebuyers.
People moving into Crest Nicholson homes will be offered cards which give special offers and incentives at sport memorabilia shops and interior designers among others.
The Staffordshire-based construction firm hopes its Privileges Card will revolutionise the purchasing process by giving customers access to a comprehensive range of practical support, financial assistance and exclusive benefits.
The Art Lounge, a contemporary art gallery, and Hall of Fame, a sport, music and film specialist, both in the Mailbox, are among the first companies to sign up to the scheme.
They have been joined by furniture firm Lee Longlands, uVizualize, a lighting and visual technology provider and Connexions Design, an interior designer.
Each will provide buyers with a range of special offers, including discounted access to the latest furniture and incentives for purchasing some of the most prized film and sporting memorabilia seen in the UK Keith Hazeldine, sales and marketing director for Crest Nicholson Midlands, said: "The Privilege Card covers every aspect of buying, moving and settling into your new home and, equally importantly, your new community.
"With this in mind, we have increased our exclusive range of privileges to include a number of special offers from local businesses that will enhance the move-in experience, whether that be through accessories for the home or lifestyle opportunities.
"Each buyer receives a tailor-made package of privileges taken from the extensive portfolio of support and benefits.
" These may include direct financial assistance to make the purchase easier, such as paying your stamp duty and mortgage for a year, or help to avoid property chains and estate agent's fees through our industry leading part exchange scheme."
The offers for each card vary according to each development.
Mr Hazeldine said: "This is just the start, as customers can also enjoy discounted access to leisure clubs, landscape design, and state-of-the-art audio-visual technology."
A high-profile advertising campaign for Crest Nicholson's Privilege Card has recently started, spearheading the roll-out of the initiative across all of its Midlands developments, including the 80 four and five-bedroom properties in Bournville Park.
Mr Hazeldine said: "The Privilege Card, which will also be used at Park Central and Westhill Park, marks a quantum leap in terms of customer service in the property industry and is one more step in the direction of putting the customer at the heart of our business."
