A West Midlands recruitment company has joined top international firms and celebrities such as Coldplay and KT Tun-stall, to tackle global warming.

Along with leading names like Honda, American Express, Avis Europe and Ricoh, Brierley Hill-based Career Prospects says it has taken a positive stance against climate change and gone carbon neutral.

The move has also been backed by plans to plant a tree for every candidate it places in employment - to help offset emissions generated by the firm.

Working with the Carbon-Neutral Company, Career Prospects has measured its C02 emissions, reducing them where possible and offsetting the unavoidable ones through sustainable forestry projects.

"In doing this we have reduced our carbon footprint to zero," said MD Sean Mulligan.
