Firms wanting to grow their business are being invited to the Black Country for the second Route to Investment (R2i) meeting.
The event, held at Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club tomorrow hopes to provide small business with advice on bank loans, commercial mortgages, small firms loan guarantees, CDFI and venture capital.
R2i is funded by Advantage West Midlands and European Regional Development Fund.
The programme's first event in Birmingham earlier in November attracted firms keen to learn how to attract interest from investors and lenders.
Patrick Palmer, Head of Access to Finance at Advantage West Midlands, said: "A key objective for the Agency is to promote innovation, entrepreneurship and business growth by ensuring that viable businesses are able to access appropriate finance.
"To achieve this we have already created a number of different initiatives to form the 'Advantage' suite of funds.
"These provide a range of finance from small loans to risk capital investments of up to £2 million.
"By enhancing the range of regional investment readiness services available to businesses looking to start up and grow, the R2i programme has an important part to play in helping businesses access these and the wide range of other finance that is available."
The R2i programme helps SMEs in the West Midlands European funding area make informed decisions on the right type of funding that will meet their needs and help them understand what funding bodies and investors are looking for.
It can also direct 'onetoone' subsidised support from experienced financial specialists to help businesses develop their finance propositions.
David Eburne, R2i Programme Manager at Birmingham Chamber, said: "For most businesses obtaining investment is vital. The R2i model of 'investment readiness' support aims to equip SMEs with all the tools they need to make the most of the opportunities available.
"The programme has a team of experienced Business Link mentors and provides access to external finance specialists."
The event, which is free to attend, takes place between 9am and 4pm.
