Building society the West Brom is on the move after more than 30 years – to a new head office in Dudley.

The society has agreed with Richardsons Capital to lease 70,000 sq ft of space at the Point North development in the town.

The site will initially accommodate around 500 staff, with ample room for future expansion and growth, and provide support services for the West Brom’s 38-strong branch network. There will also be an administration centre providing a direct service for savings accounts, mortgages and investments.

Following an extensive fit-out operation, the society expects to occupy Point North by the autumn of 2013.

Jonathan Westhoff, chief executive of the West Brom, said: “Moving to Point North marks a new era in the society’s heritage, sending out a clear message that the West Brom is a modern, growing and successful organisation.”
