Skipton Business Finance celebrated the fist birthday of its regional centre in Birmingham by hosting an extravagant James Bond evening for clients and the local business community.

The invoice financier set its sights on expanding into the West Midlands in 2011, prompting the opening of an office in Baskerville House, Broad Street. It now has three regional centres in Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham, as well as its headquarters in Skipton.

To celebrate the occasion, a private screening of the new James Bond film Skyfall was arranged for close to 100 valued business associates and clients based in the region.

Speaking after the event Robin Peers, regional director, said: “It was really positive to see such a great turnout and is a testament to how we’ve embedded our brand into Birmingham.

“Skipton Business Finance aspires to be a UK-leading financier in the invoice finance market and to maintain our position as a major, client-focused organisation in the north of England and now the Midlands.

“We want to continue growing and developing our client-oriented business model, which we can only achieve by ensuring that our clients and business associates are delivered the best service in the industry”, he concluded.
