Santander has expanded its footprint at One Cornwall Street in the heart of Birmingham’s business quarter.
AXA Insurance UK and AXA PPP Healthcare, represented by real estate advisor Savills, have let additional office space to the bank.
Santander, which already occupies the whole of the building’s third floor as its Birmingham corporate banking centre, has agreed a new eight-year lease for the 2,328 sq ft fourth floor.
Located in Colmore Business District, One Cornwall Street has undergone a full refurbishment and offers high specification, grade A office accommodation.
Over the past 15 months, it has attracted occupiers including Delmas, Chase de Vere and Pitch Consultants.
Jonathan Ottewell, associate director of office agency at Savills, said: “One Cornwall Street combines high quality business space with a superb location at the heart of Birmingham’s business district and we are pleased that Santander chose to expand its operations within the building.”
Savills and DTZ are now marketing the 4,642 sq ft fifth floor and a 2,189 sq ft first floor suite at the building.
